Thermodynamics Style 7000R is processed in a number of ways to adapt the unique properties of the material to a variety of sealing needs. Rolls are split :
-	to produce tape of different widths for winding co-axially into dies to form molded rings for pump and valve glands.

-	to produce strip which may be passed through rollers to generate a surface pattern when reels of tape are required as a general purpose sealing aid.

-	to produce narrow strip filler for spiral wound gaskets.

-	to produce a twisted yarn for braiding into a gland packing, tubing, tapes and cloths.

Thermodynamics Style 7000R is suitable for gasket cutting and can be laminated with metallic interlays to form a robust, easily handled gasket construction which lends itself to complicated profiles. A passivating agent can be introduced into the raw material to reduce the possibility of corrosion occurring in certain valve applications where the seal is likely to be static for prolonged periods in the presence of water.
